Parent School Partnership
The Parent School Partnership Program (PSP) is a series of classes for Elementary, Middle and High School Parents. It is a bilingual, research-based parent involvement curriculum that helps parents understand the school system, know their educational rights and responsibilities, navigate the road to careers and college, communicate with school staff more effectively and become advocates for their children. The curriculum is based on the program from the Mexican American Legal Defense & Educational Fund (MALDEF) and has been adapted for schools in Nevada. The program is essential for working with “hard to reach families” of diverse backgrounds.
